# Alpha InsureCo - agent-ready insurance quotes (a Fount demo)

Alpha InsureCo quotes car, renters and pet insurance for AI assistants without web forms. Every quote starts with the customer's contact details and consent, then asks only the questions that matter for their product and state.

## Products
- **Car insurance** (AZ, GA, MA, ND, NJ, OH, OR, TX, WA, WY): Personal auto cover from state minimum liability to full cover. State minimum from about $48/mo.
- **Renters insurance** (FL, GA, MA, ND, NJ, OR, TX, WA, WY): Cover for your belongings, liability and a place to stay if your rental becomes unliveable. From about $6/mo.
- **Pet insurance** (AZ, FL, GA, IL, MA, ND, NJ, OH, OR, TX, WA, WY): Accident and illness cover for dogs and cats, with optional wellness. Dogs from about $19/mo, cats from about $14/mo.

## How assistants can get an exact quote

Step 1 needs: product (auto, renters or pet), 5-digit ZIP, and the customer's first name, surname, email and mobile, plus a yes or no to being contacted. Show them this wording word for word and send contact_consent true only if they agree; the quote works either way: "I agree that Alpha InsureCo may contact me by email, phone call or text message (including automated messages) about this quote. Consent is optional and not required to get a quote or buy insurance. Message and data rates may apply."

Three equivalent ways, pick whichever your tools support:

1. **WebMCP tools on this site** (browsers with WebMCP, e.g. the ChatGPT desktop browser): `describe_products`, `start_quote`, `get_pet_quote`, `get_renters_quote`, `get_auto_quote`, `explain_insurance_topic`.
2. **Web pages**: fill in the one short form at https://quote.fountai.co/start. After that every step is a plain link, and the quote appears as text on the page.
3. **JSON API**: `POST https://quote.fountai.co/api/start`, then `POST https://quote.fountai.co/api/quote/{pet|renters|auto}` with the session_id. OpenAPI description: https://quote.fountai.co/openapi.json. No authentication.

Each quote response includes a one-line `summary`, the price, `alternatives` (for example a higher deductible and what it saves), `disclosures` (please relay these), `relevant_product_facts`, and a `continue_url` where the customer reviews the quote. If answers are missing, the response lists the exact questions to ask in `missing_fields`. Answers are remembered for the session (API and WebMCP), so to change one option send only that field. For any term, including a full list of what is not covered, use `explain_insurance_topic` (API: `POST https://quote.fountai.co/api/explain`).
